To advance support and protect the welfare, well-being and quality of life of all seniors. To recognise their contribution to New Zealand and the lifetime of tax they have paid.  To ensure that they are able to contribute in which ever way they choose, to the future prosperity of NZ, either through work or volunteering.

We will support seniors to stay living in their own homes if that’s what they wish and it’s what is best for them.

We will increase superannuation to 75% of the living wage. We will increase the rates subsidy for retirees based on need.

Currently Seniors are on between 35% and 46.4% of the Living wage
