Part 1: The "One Doctor" Rule (ACC Reform)

NZ Outdoors and Freedom Party are standing this election to end the taxpayer-funded war on the injured. The era of ACC "Expert Shopping" to find a reason to decline your claim will be  over.

• Medical Sovereignty: If one qualified New Zealand Medical Specialist or GP confirms you are injured, that diagnosis is final.
• Abolishing the Review Machine: We propose to disestablish the internal roles of Review Specialists and Investigators.
• Defunding the Middle-Men: We propose to immediately cancel the bulk-funding contracts for external agencies like FairWay Resolution and ICRA.
• Ending the "Hired Gun" Economy: We propose terminate the practice of paying external medical consultants to systematically pick apart the diagnoses of New Zealand's hardworking GPs and specialists.
• Ending the Courtroom Battles: By removing the ability for ACC to "dispute" a doctor's diagnosis, we eliminate the need for costly District and High Court appeals.

Our Promise: This $61.5 million per annum will be redirected from the pockets of lawyers and bureaucrats and put directly into frontline surgeries, rehabilitation, and disability support.

Part 2: The Pfizer Breach of Contract Policy

The New Zealand government acts as Pfizer's unpaid insurance company while the ACC acts as its defence lawyer. This ends now.

1. Piercing the Indemnity Shield

The government claims they cannot hold Pfizer accountable due to "indemnity clauses." However, we know from leaked and unredacted contracts globally exactly what Pfizer’s template looks like.

• The "Brazil Template": These leaked documents reveal Pfizer’s demands for total immunity from side effects "from today to infinity," the waiver of sovereign assets as collateral, and a total gag order on the terms of the deal.
• Breach of Warranty: No indemnity is absolute. We will propose New Zealan pursues Pfizer for Breach of Contract on the basis that they failed to provide transparent data regarding product efficacy and safety profiles at the time of procurement.

2. Cost Recovery for Kiwis

• Initiating a Crown Claim: We will propose to recover the $16.8 million already paid out by ACC for vaccine injuries (as of 2026), alongside the hundreds of millions in projected future costs.
• Transparency First: We will immediately push to move to release the full, unredacted NZ Pfizer contract. New Zealanders have a right to see the deal that traded away their legal rights.
• Future Claims Protection: We propose ACC will provide guaranteed funds to compensate for any long-term health problems caused by the Pfizer vaccine, accounting for the fact that the public may have been misled regarding safety and efficacy.
• Right to Recover from Fraudulent Products: We propose to amend the Accident Compensation Act 2001 to grant ACC a statutory right of recourse against manufacturers. This enables the recovery of costs where injury resulted from products supported by fraudulent science or deceptive safety claims.
• A Public Review: A will call for a full review of ACC law to include compensation for distress, humiliation, and loss of enjoyment of life caused by an accident.

The Bottom Line

We aren't just proposing saving money; we proposing saving lives. We are taking part the $61.5 million used to fight you and using some of it to fight Pfizer.
